B factoryは東京都町田市で創業して以来、環境に配慮した、サステナブル（持続可能）な無農薬農園を目指し、日々挑戦しています。
またアンディウォーホルの『factory』の様に、当園もアートと農業の融合という新しいカルチャーの実験、発信、出会いの基地になるようにとの思いを込め命名しました。

日本には「春夏秋冬」という四季があります。
４つそれぞれに特色があり、人は『匂い・風・気温』などの変化によって四季を肌で感じます。しかし近年、テクノロジーや輸送システムの進化によって、１年を通して均等で安定した商品の供給が実現したおかげで『旬』にどこか鈍感になってしまったように思います。

『旬のものを食べる喜び』『旬の植物を見る喜び』を当園は大切にしていきたいと思っています。

B factory is named after 'The Factory', which is artist Andy Warhol's studio in New York City. The name was given in the hope that it acts as the place of the wonderful encounter with a new culture that is the marriage of art and agriculture.

We have four seasons, spring, summer, fall and winter in Japan. Each of the four seasons has its unique characteristics, and we get the feel of it with the skin, by its variation of scent, wind and temperature. However, the all advance in technology and the transportation system, the realization of consistent and steady product supply throughout the year, I think we become a bit insensitive to "season".

We value 'The joy of eating seasonal food' and 'The joy of enjoying seasonal flowers and plants'.
